Manufacturing Process

Manufactured in India’s most advance plant that has less manual handling & more mechanical manufacturing process to make a flawless panel products.

1. Debarking

Logs are fed into a Debarking machine to remove the bark.

A large rotary lathe is used to erase markings left by the debarking knives during the debarking process.

A mechanical dryer with temperature control is used to provide uniform drying.

4. Compose Core

Synthetic plastics such as phenol-formaldehyde or urea resins are often used as adhesives to establish the thickness of plywood sheets.

Layers of veneer are composed to avoid overlapping and core gap problem.

Used to ensure the penetration of resin for a strong bond.

A machine used to cut thin plywood in a hassle-free and smooth manner, trim rough edges, and make required sizes in all types of wooden boards and plywood boards.

8. Calibrating

High-tech machinery is used to obtain a consistent thickness across the board, making it a suitable panel product for use by mechanized automated furniture producers.

All mill marks and other flaws, such as dents introduced in handling, are removed.

10. Chemical Dipping

Plywood is treated by dipping it into fire retardant, borer, termite, and nano chemical.

11. Quality Check and Lab Test

Wudlay Ply checks and lab tests its plywood products before dispatching, performing various tests under the guidelines of ISI.
